When it comes to elevating footwear collaborations, James Whitner and the Whitaker Group has you covered. In its latest Nike edit, A Ma Maniere of the Whitaker Group takes on a luxurious approach to the Jordan 3.

The ingredients to create bring this vision together include tumbled white leather throughout the upper with raw leather trimming around mudguards. While the infamous elephant print that is most notable on other Jordan 3’s, A Ma Maniere substituted it with gray suede to compliment its aged/weathered and mature aesthetic.

Personally, these provide the perfect blend of luxury and sport. The silver quilted satin on the collar lining is a subtle yet satisfying upgrade that you never knew you needed. Let’s just hope it doesn’t pill too much!

Neutral color ways are becoming a fan favorite for Jordan and sneaker collectors for their versatility and Nike is showing no signs of delivering at every level to meet that growing demand. After much speculation, Nike has finally set a release date for these gems for April 21, 2021. I expect the release to be rather limited given the materials and process to bring this vision together. Retail is set for $200.
