Jordan 1 Retro OG "Dark Mocha"
In an arrangement inspired by the heavily hyped Travis 1’s, Jordan Brand revisits the Retro Jordan 1 in a this elevated and versatile color option. Introducing the Jordan “Dark Mocha.”
We’ve seen our fair share of Jordan Retro 1’s release this year. The brand has made it clear that they’re not shying away from using color (which is evident in the recent GR please of the Bio Hack). While having a pair of colored J’s to synchronize an outfit, there’s something to be said about the brands shift to this muted and sophisticated palette.
Featuring a mix of brown suede, premium black leather and what appears to be a tumbled leather (which the brand has been playing with all year) in an off white tone; the Jordan “Mocha” is by far the cleanest and most mature Jordan 1 I’ve ever seen released.
Word is that there are approximately 280K pairs that will be sold globally. Despite the high stock number, it’s not even close to 1M volume Nike set for the Concords in 2018 and the 2M volume set for the Bred 11’s in 2010; both had a strong resell price after their release.
Global release is set for Saturday, October 31 via SNKRS and various retailers with a retail price of $170.
